Green Chapel AME Church will hold a back-to-school yard sale 8 a.m. until Saturday, July 31, at the corner of Hwy. 17 and Main Street, Rocky Ford. Booths are available for $20 for nonperishable items like clothes, furniture.

“Fruits of the Spirit” program

Mt. Carmel will present a “Fruits of the Spirit” program 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31. Great speakers and good singing will be featured.

The Rev. Jerome Herrington, pastor, and congregation invite the public to attend.

Christian Believer Outreach Mission

to host “give away” A free give-away will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 31, across from Regions Bank. The event is sponsored by Christian Believer Outreach Mission.

Free items include: school supplies, clothes of all sizes, household items and shoes.

Fish sandwiches will also be available for purchase for lunch. The public is invited to attend.
