It’s almost time for school to start again, and that means homework can’t be far behind. If your child needs some extra help to find information, wants to read a book that the school library doesn’t have, or just needs to use the computer to type up a report, bring them to the public library, where we’re always happy to help!
Does your child love to be read to? After-school Storytimes begin next Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 4 p.m. and will be held every week! Children can listen to a story and then do a fun craft project, all for free! The theme for Aug, 11’s Storytime is “Catch of the Day.”
Did you know that you can find books by your favorite authors, renew items you’ve checked out, search for newspaper and magazine articles and much more through PINES? All you need is a computer, your library card, and a PIN number – and you can get all of those right here at your local library!

New at the library- “Still Missing” by Chevy Stevens. Annie O’Sullivan had three goals the day she was abducted: sell a house, forget the argument she’d had with her mother, and be on time for dinner with her boyfriend. A year later, she killed her abductor and escaped…but that was just the beginning of her struggle.
