The Millen Police Department reported the following incidents this week.

Friday, July 16

Officers investigated a report at R&M Auto, Winthrope Avenue, in which person(s) unknown entered three vehicles stealing batteries and a stereo from them. The case remains under investigation.

Saturday, July 17

Maxine Jones, 928 Annycliff Street, was charged with criminal damage in the second degree resulting from an incident that occurred at a Gray Street location.

Sunday, July 18

Officers investigated a reported criminal trespass at a Hwy. 25 North business location.

Monday, July 19

A Hendrix Street resident reported that five children threw rocks and hit her child.

Tuesday, July 20

Floyd Junior Lockett, 1718 Beaverdam Road, was charged with theft by shoplifting.

Friday, July 23

Officers investigated a burglary at Holly Store, 504 Buckhead Road. Items taken include $500 cash and cigarettes and cigars valued at $300.
