Randy Dailey named JCMS principal

Randy Dailey has been named principal at Jenkins County Middle School (JCMS), following the transfer of former principal Nichole Moulton to the Jenkins County

Board of Education central office where she will serve as Director of Special Services.

Mr. Dailey has served JCMS the past three years as assistant principal, transferring from Jenkins County Elementary School (JCES) where he was employed for five years. He is a 12 year veteran of the education field beginning his career as a sixth grade teacher. He is highly qualified in the areas of social studies, math and language arts.

“Having Mr. Dailey step into the position of principal continues this board’s dedication to promote from within when possible. Mr. Dailey has done an exemplary job with each position he has held in our system. I look forward to working with him as we continue to provide a learning environment that supports and encourages our middle school students,” said Jenkins County School Superintendent Melissa Williams.

Mr. Dailey received a bachelor of science degree in Middle Grades Education at Georgia Southern University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Augusta State University. During his career, he has served as a teacher, coach and administrator.

Mr. Dailey is a Jenkins County native and a product of the local school system, graduating from Jenkins County High School in 1986. He is married to Pam Dailey, a fourth grade teacher at JCES.

Mr. Dailey comments that JCMS is a high achieving school, which he believes is a result of a strong partnership between the teachers, students and parents.

“JCMS exists to benefit our students. I see my role as actively leading the school, supporting student achievement, promoting community involvement and providing teachers the resources they need to teach,” he said. “I’m excited for what the future holds.”
