Mrs. Milburne Aycock Aaron, 90, died Aug. 3
Mrs. Milburne Aycock Aaron, 90, of Millen devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died Tuesday Aug. 3, 2010 at University Hospital in Augusta.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2010 at Elam Baptist Church with Dr. Maurice Crowder, the Rev. Kevin Farmer and Dr. John Parker officiating. Burial was in the Elam cemetery.
Born in Jenkins County, Mrs. Aaron was a homemaker and a faithful member of Elam Baptist Church where she had been organist or pianist for 70 years. She was a member of the Adult Ladies Sunday School class, the Merry Makers, Women’s Missionary Union and the music committee. Mrs. Aaron also served as past President of Women on Missions and Leader of Girls in Action.
Survivors include her husband, C. Britt Aaron; daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Jerry Henry of Millen; grandchildren, Melanie and Matthew Jenkins of Waynesboro, Brian Henry of Atlanta, Renee, John Paul, Taylor and Anna Kate Hearn of Millen and Eddie Taylor of East Dublin; niece, Judy Taylor; and friend/ caregiver, Brida Corley.
Active pallbearers were John Paul Hearn, Bill Hillis, Terry Hickman, Norman Parker, Charlie Hammons and Rupert Aaron.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home of Millen was in charge of arrangements.
