Wednesday, Aug. 4 Officers investigated a reported traffic accident.

Thursday, Aug. 5

Officers investigated a burglary in which unknown offenders were reported living in a residence that the owner said should not be occupied.

Monday, Aug. 9

Officers investigated the theft of several pit bulldogs, including three puppies, from a residence.

Friday, Aug. 13

Officers investigated a report of someone making terroristic threats.

Saturday, Aug. 14

A reported shoplifting was reported and investigated at Dollar General.

Sunday, Aug. 15

Officers investigated a report of simple battery and aggravated battery.

Monday, Aug. 16 Lee Roy Sampson was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol-first offense and exceeding the maximum speed limit.
