Dear Editor,

Earlier this year, my wife and I wrote a note concerning the issue of litter and trash throughout our area and specifically along Hiltonia Road.

We continue our periodic monitoring and pick up activities along Hiltonia Road.

We believe that the other property owners along the road have taken steps to assist in cleaning their property areas and road frontage. We want to thank all of those folks who have stopped littering along the roads and thank the residents who continue to pick up litter and cut the grass.

We believe everyone’s efforts are making a difference. It only takes a quick moment to stash the trash in any one of the county provided dumpsters.

We hope that more people will join us and help make our community a more attractive place to visit and live.
