Needful Baptist Church to hold celebration

A Family and Friends Day celebration will be held 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at Needful Baptist Church. Deacon Charlie Walker and Sister Lottie Walker will preside.

New Hurricane Branch to celebrate 139th anniversary New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church will celebrate its 139th church anniversary Sunday, Sept. 5. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and the mass meeting at 11 a.m.

Marriage Ministry Workshop

Fountain Spring Baptist Church will host a Marriage Ministry Workshop 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4. The guest speakers will be Deacon Matthew Roberson and Minister Louise Roberson.

The workshops are for married or engaged couples and are designed to help couples enhance their marriage as well as offer advice to engaged couples on some things to expect in their marriages. It is also an opportunity to fellowship with other couples.
