EMT Billy Alligood was honored Friday, Aug. 20, with a retirement celebration hosted by Jenkins County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), along with family, friends and coworkers. “Mr. Alligood has been a loyal and dedicated EMS employee for 24 years, serving the citizens of Jenkins County and Region Six EMS. Congratulations, Billy, and enjoy your well-earned retirement. We will all miss you,” said Henry Young, EMS director. At right, from left, Young presents Alligood with a plaque of appreciation.
