Ogeechee Outlaws place second in tourney

(Photo contributed) The Ogeechee Outlaws travel baseball team for ages 11 and under won second place in the sixth annual August Slugfest in Dublin on Aug. 21. They are coached by Bobby James and Michael Mincey.

The team defeated the Dublin Vipers in the semi-final game and lost to the Macon Cardinals.

The tournament was sponsored by Nations Baseball who also provided trophies to the first and second place teams in each age division.
