Miss Gainey to wed Mr. Tamblyn Sept. 25

Jessica Hope Gainey and David Mark Tamblyn Jessica Hope Gainey and David Mark Tamblyn Mr. and Mrs. William Bart Gainey announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Hope Gainey, to David Mark Tamblyn of Swainsboro. The future groom is the son of Mrs. Linda Tamblyn of Swainsboro and the late Dr. Thomas Matthew Tamblyn III.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Edward Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. William Houston Gainey, all of Millen, and the late Carol Alice Toole. Miss Gainey is a 2006 honor graduate of Jenkins County High School. She attended Georgia Highlands College. She is currently attending Coosa Valley Technical School of Rome, pursuing a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Miss Gainey is employed as a Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens in Swainsboro.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lamar Hood of Kite and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Matthew Tamblyn Jr. of Fayetteville. Mr. Tamblyn is a 2003 honor graduate of Swainsboro High School and a 2007 graduate of Columbia International University of S.C. He is employed as an Assistant Manager with Walgreens in Waynesboro.

The wedding is planned for 3 p.m. Sept. 25, 2010 at Cross Clubhouse in Midville. A reception will follow at the same location.
