Mrs. Barbara Amerson of Swainsboro died Sept. 1
Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Barbara Amerson, 53, of Swainsboro on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at her residence after an extended illness.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 in the Peebles Curry Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harry Hadden officiating. Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dellwood.
Mrs. Amerson was a native of Chatham County, a retail manager with Bill’s Dollar Tree, and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin Head Sr. and Judith Ann Screws.
Suvivors include her husband, Rebun Amerson, Millen; two daughters, Wanda Keyton (Shawn), Wrightsville, and Selena Rowland (Brian), Thompson; three step-children, C.J. Amerson, Christopher Amerson and Briana Amerson, all of Millen; two brothers, Franklin Delano Head, Wadley, and Dallas James, Nashville, Tenn; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dallas James, Frank Head, Austin Daughtry, Aaron Ayala, John Clark and Roger Clark.
