Oak Grove to hold fish fry

First McCoy to celebrate 40 years

First McCoy Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy 23, will celebrate 40 years 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. Dinner will be served. The public is invited to attend.

Kelsey Chapel to host Black History program

Kelsey Chapel Baptist Church, Hiltonia Road, will host a Black History program 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. The speaker for the occasion will be Ms. Sonja Williams, a native of Millen. She is employed as teacher in Richmond County.

Pastor Albert L. White and the church family invite the public to attend.

First Baptist to celebrate pastor’s anniversary

First Baptist Church will celebrate the 17th Pastoral Anniversary 11:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12. The guest speaker will be Dr. Willie Abney, pastor of Morrison Grove Baptist Church, Millen. Dinner will be served. The public is invited to attend.

St. Paul Baptist to hold program

The 7th Pre-Valentine/Gospel Singing program will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. Paul Baptist Church, Sylvania. All choirs and gospel groups are welcome to participate. The event is sponsored by The Inspirational Community Choir, Dea. Robin Frazier, president, and Dr. Rev. Diane Evans, pastor.
