Rush to the library to see the River of Words! This beautiful display of the works of the young people of Georgia will be flowing on down the road this Friday, March 30, and you don’t want to miss this spectacular sight!

Something that won’t be going anywhere is our super Storytime! Every Wednesday at 4 p.m. we have a terrific Storytime and craft that will have your kids eager for their next book! This Wednesday, March 28, we’ll be exploring the world of art and next Wednesday, April 4, we’ll be learning about Easter.

Spring has sprung, and that means it’s a great time to do things outdoors. But did you know that the library can help you have fun outdoors and save money? With the Georgia ParkPass, you can check out the ParkPass kit for a week and use the pass to get into any state park or historical site for little or no cost, as many times as you like!

Want to do something even wilder? Check out the Zoo Atlanta Zoo Explorer Family Pass at the library! You just check out the Zoo Explorer DVD, turn it back in on time, and you will receive a voucher that will get two adults and two children into the Atlanta Zoo for free! For more information on these terrific programs, call the library at 478-982-4244.

New at the library – “Stay close” by Harlan Coben. Megan used to walk the wild side, but now she’s a dissatisfied soccer mom. Ray was a documentary photographer, but now he’s a papparazi sucking up to star-struck rich kids. Broome was a detective who could never let go of a case, even after it went stone cold. Now, the past is coming back to haunt them, and they just might find that the line between their new lives and their old ones is paper-thin.
