Wyndell K. Bell
Mr. Wyndell K. Bell, 65, of Millen died Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Optim Medical Center after a long illness.
Memorial services were held 4 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Green Fork Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Allen and Rudine Becton officiating.
Mr. Bell was born in Charleston, S.C. and was a dairy farmer, farmer, and mail carrier. He was a director of the Jenkins County Farm Bureau and member of the Green Fork Baptist Church. Wyndell has served on the board of directors for the Jenkins County Farm Bureau, Georgia Milk Producers Association, the National Dairy Shrine, American Dairy Association, Dairy Council and Georgia DHIA. He has been president of the Jenkins County DHIA, Ogeechee Young Dairyman and chairman of the Jenkins County Farm Service Agency.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Gay Bell; three sons, Karlson (Kathy) Bell, Whit Bell, and Kevan Bell; mother, Mildred H. Bell; sister, Cherdale B. Cross; and two grandchildren, Katie Lynn Bell and Kara Leigh Bell, all of Millen.
Honorary pallbearers were Louis Parker, Norman Parker, Larry Adams, David Adams, Kenneth Williams, Wayne Fields, and members of Jenkins County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
