The holiday season also means shopping, and the reader in your life will love the great reads you can pick up for them in our book sale – and you’ll love our prices. For only $1, you can get a bag full of books, and give them the gift of hours of entertainment.

Think that’s the only way that we can help you this holiday season? Think again. Our new 3D printing service is a great way to create cool gifts that you can’t find in the stores. It’s only $1 to print plus $0.20 per gram of printed weight, and we’ll be glad to show you how to get or create a design to print.

The Friends of the Jenkins County Memorial Library are having a bake sale to help raise funds for the library. From now until Tuesday, December 15, you can bid on tasty treats made by the best bakers in Jenkins County, and all funds go to helping your library provide even better service to you.

Our next All-Ages Coloring Time will be Friday, December 18, at 11 a.m. It’s a great way to relax and let all the holiday stress float away.

A great way to help kids in their schoolwork is to get them to love reading – and our weekly storytime is a wonderful way to do that. Every Tuesday at 4 p.m. we tell stories and the kids do fun crafts. This Tuesday, December 8, we’ll be telling the tale of Chanukah, the Miracle of Lights. Next Tuesday, December 15, we will be sharing the story of Kwanzaa.

New at the library – “The Guilty” by David Baldacci. Will Robie is a professional assassin, one of the best… or he was, until he lost his nerve. Unable to pull the trigger, he is unable to eliminate our nation’s enemies. In order to regain his life, he’s got to face his past so he can move on.

Well, that’s all for now – see you at the library!
