Chamber of Commerce conducting membership drive

Have you ever considered joining the Millen/Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce? If so, now is the time to do so. The Chamber of Commerce is conducting its annual membership drive which is open to businesses, corporations and individuals.

Mandy Underwood, Executive Director, Chamber/Development Authority, outlined the benefits of joining the chamber: networking, job fairs, Chamber Banquet, Small Business Week/ Saturday, Legislative Breakfast, ribbon cutting/grand opening events, free listing in the business card directory, business referrals, discounted health insurance, mixers and events, annual BBQ Cook-off and Christmas in Millen. Members also receive discounts with Auto Owners Insurance, AirMethods, FedEx and Office Depot.

“The Chamber’s mission is to make Millen and Jenkins County a better place to live and work,” said Mrs. Underwood.

Business memberships are $35 annually; corporate memberships, $150 annually; and individual memberships, $35 annually. Anyone who is interested in promoting Millen and Jenkins County is invited to join.
