Millen Baptist to Easter activities The children’s ministry of Millen Baptist Church will host children’s Easter activities 1-3 p.m. April 8th. Events will include an Easter egg hunt, snacks and the presentation of the Easter story. The public is invited. Gordon Grove to hold revival Revival services will be held at Gordon Grove Baptist Church 7 p.m. March 28-30. Guest speakers will be: Tuesday, Rev. B.J. Martin; Wednesday, Rev. Joe Davis and Thursday, Rev. Daniel Foster. The church pastor is Robert Davis. Daniel Grove to host Prayer and Praise Rally A Prayer and Praise Rally will be hosted by Daniel Grove Baptist Church 7:30 p.m. April 4-6. Guest speakers will be: April 4th, Rev. Jeremy Lindsey, Connection Church; April 5th, Rev. Pythias Chabala, Jenkins Correctional Center; and April 6th, Prayer and Praise Rally. First Baptist Church to host Pastor Appreciation First Baptist Church, 307 Old Waynesboro Rd., will host its third Pastor Appreciation program for Rev. Fredrick L. Williams 11:15 a.m. April 9th. Rev. Donald Long, Pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church will bring the message. Jones Temple to host “Door Keeper” program A “Door Keeper” program will be hosted by Jones Temple Baptist Church 5 p.m. April 1st. Sponsors are the Usher Board. The guest speaker will be Rev. Joel Davis. The church pastor is Rev. Matthew Davis. Morrison Grove Baptist Church to host spring revival Morrison Grove Baptist Church will host spring revival services March 28-30th at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The guests revivalists will be: March 28, Rev. Albert White; March 29, Prophet Reginald Scott; and March 30, Rev. Solomon Roberts. The Millen United Methodist Church, 413 N. Gray Street, will hold a huge Yard Sale 8 a.m. Saturday, April 1st. All proceeds will go towards the UMW mission project Millen Methodist to host Maundy Thursday service Millen United Methodist Church will host a Maundy Thursday service 7 p.m. April 13th in the sanctuary of the church. The service will include a message followed by Holy Communion. The community is invited to the Lord’s table as the Last Supper is celebrated and remembered. Community Holy Week observed at Millen Methodist The Jenkins County Council of Churches and Millen United Methodist Church will host Community Holy Week at noon each day in the Fellowship Hall of the church Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 14. There will be a meal followed by a message each day. Speakers will be: Monday – Rev. Jeremy Lindsey, Connection Church; Tuesday, Rev. Joshua Farthing, The Church of God; Wednesday – Rev. Dr. Ralph Taylor, Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church; Thursday – Rev. Luke Braswell, Youth Pastor, West Millen Baptist Church; and Friday – Rev. Brad Asbury, Millen Baptist Church. The public is invited to celebrate Holy Week together.
