Millen Baptist to Present Easter Cantata

The Millen Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir and the Leonard Quick Sunday School Class will present “Amazing Love, How Can it Be”, an Easter Cantata that reflects on the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus paid and helps celebrate the freedom known through His amazing love. The cantata will be presented during the morning worship service at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 16. The Choir is under the direction of music director, Sandy Becton, with Sandra Neasbitt as drama coordinator. The pastor is Brad Asbury and the public is encouraged and invited to attend.

Easter Sunrise Service at Big Buckhead Baptist Church

An Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Big Buckhead Baptist Church, Perkins, 7 a.m. April 16th. Special music will be provided by the singers from Burkeland Mennonite Church. The message will be brought by Josh Farthing. The public is invited to attend this community-wide service.

Millen Methodist to host Maundy Thursday service

Millen United Methodist Church will host a Maundy Thursday service 7 p.m. April 13th in the sanctuary of the church. The service will include a message followed by Holy Communion. The community is invited to the Lord’s table as the Last Supper is celebrated and remembered.

Community Holy Week observed at Millen Methodist

The Jenkins County Council of Churches and Millen United Methodist Church will host Community Holy Week at noon each day in the Fellowship Hall of the church Monday, April 10, through Friday, April 14. There will be a meal followed by a message each day. Speakers will be: Monday – Rev. Jeremy Lindsey, Connection Church; Tuesday, Rev. Joshua Farthing, The Church of God; Wednesday – Rev. Dr. Ralph Taylor, Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church; Thursday – Rev. Luke Braswell, Youth Pastor, West Millen Baptist Church; and Friday – Rev. Brad Asbury, Millen Baptist Church. The public is invited to celebrate Holy Week together.

Holy Week services to be held at Perkins Community Center

Holy Week services will be held at the Perkins Community Center, Perkins, Wednesday through Friday, April 12-14th. A light supper of soup and sandwiches will be served beginning at 6 p.m. each evening. A Devotional following the meals will be given by Rev. Larry E. Bird.

Gay’s Hill to hold revival

Revival services will be held at Gay’s Hill Baptist Church Tuesday- Thursday, April 11-13, at 7 p.m. nightly. The church pastor is Rev. Larry Cone.

Welcome Baptist to hold revival

Spring revival services will be held at Welcome Baptist Church 7:30 p.m. April 11-13. The guest speaker will be Rev. Frederick Williams. Rev. Eddie Walker is the church pastor.

Endtime Faith to hold spring revival

Endtime Faith Deliverance Church, 407 Murphy Street, Midville, will hold a 3-night spring revival April 12-14th at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The church pastor is Rev. Clyde Foreman.

Brantley Temple to hold revival

Spring Revival services will be held at Brantley Temple 7:45 p.m. April 10-14. Elder Douglas Jones I the pastor. Evangelist Cynthia McNeely will be presiding.

Skull Creek Missionary #2 to celebrate Pastoral Anniversary

The 17th Pastoral Anniversary of Rev. and Sis. Charles Holloway will be celebrated at Skull Creek Missionary Baptist Church #2 April 16th. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. The sermon will be delivered by Elder Pearlstine Capers.

Drakes Chapel to host spring revival

Spring revival services will be held at Drakes Chapel Baptist Church 7:30 p.m. April 12-14. The guest minister will be Rev. Frank Bedford. The church pastor is Rev. Robert L. Stephens.

Nannie E. Williams to host Sunrise Service

A Sunrise Service will be held at Nannie E. Williams Church 6:30 a.m. April 16th. The church pastor is Uley Robbins.

Zion Baptist to host Male Participation program

Male Participation Sunday, celebrating 20 years, will be held Sunday, April 23rd, at Zion Baptist Church. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and the morning worship service at 11 a.m. Rev. P.M. Broomfield is pastor.

Easter Sunrise Service at Oak Hill Baptist

Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Oak Hill Baptist Church 7:30 a.m. Sunday, April 16th, on the cemetery side of the church. Breakfast will be serviced in the Family Life Center immediately following the service. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. and the morning worship service at 11 a.m. Special music will be provided by Ruthie’s Kids and the adult choir of the church. Bro. Jamie Archer will deliver the Easter message. There will be no evening service on Easter Sunday.

Kelsey Chapel to host program

Family and Friends Day will be held at Kelsey Chapel Baptist Church 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22. Rev. Danny R. Bennett is the church pastor.
