As the members arrived they were welcomed to the inviting front porch of the lovely home of Linda and Rodney Newton. Co-hostesses with Linda were Gladys Bragg and Judy Taylor who served the guests a delicious Peach/Blueberry Tart.

President Veronica Cowart called the meeting to order and during the business session Janette Keezel reported that the Rose Garden on Cotton Avenue has been fertilized and maintained and is in full bloom for everyone to enjoy. Jane Johnson and Linda Newton have planted colorful Verbena in the planters on Cotton. These projects are part of the Civic Beautification for Millen Garden Club.

Linda Newton presented the program on Ogeechee Peaches telling the group of the produce available and how the business has expanded from just peaches. Each member received a notepad displaying peaches and a Christmas ornament peach pit angel.
