West Millen to hold VBS

West Millen Baptist Church's VBS kicks off June 4th-8th from 5- 8 p.m. each night. Kids who have completed grades PreK through 5th are invited to attend. Kids will be discovering the God of the universe as Galactic Starveyors!

Gordon Grove to host programs

Pre-Pastor Anniversary services will be held at Gordon Grove Baptist Church 7 p.m. May 30-June 1st. The guest ministers will be Tuesday – Rev. Elliot Bing; Wednesday – Rev. Greg Thomas; and Thursday – Rev. Donald Long. The pastor’s third anniversary will be celebrated Sunday, June 4th. Sunday School starts a 9 a.m. and the worship service at 10 a.m. with Rev. Danny Bennett of Sand Hill Baptist Church. The anniversary program starts at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Craig Tremble of Second St. John of Statesboro. The church pastor is Robert Davis.

Elam Baptist to hold VBS June 4-8

Vacation Bible School will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. June 4-8 at Elam Baptist Church. A meal will be provided each night and transportation is available. For more information, call 706-526-4670.

Living Word Ministry to host program

The second Usher’s Anniversary will be held at Living Word Ministry June 11th. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. and the anniversary service at 10:30 a.m. Guest churches will include: Drakes Chapel, First McCoy, Fountain Spring, Gay's Hill, Gordon Grove, Jones Temple, Lane Grove, Mt. Carmel, New Light, Sandhill, Skull Creek #1 & 2, Union Chapel and Williams Grove Baptist Church. Refreshments will be served. Pastor Steve Carr, Sr. is pastor.

First Baptist Church to celebrate 132nd anniversary

First Baptist Church will celebrate 132 years of service 11:15 a.m. June 11th. The guest speaker will be son of the house, Rev. W.B. Blount of Greater Young Zion Baptist Church, Augusta.

Carswell Baptist Church to hold revival

Revival services will be held at Carswell Grove Baptist Church 7:30 p.m. June 5-9. The guest pastor for the week will be Rev. Eric Cooper of Friendship Baptist Church and St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
