Summer Lunch Program for children underway

The Jenkins County Board of Education (BOE) announces the Seamless Summer Option Lunch Program to be held at the middle/high cafeteria beginning June 5 and ending June 29. This program provides nutritious lunches at no cost to all children 18 and under and/or persons 19 or older with physical or mental disability, who are enrolled in school.

Lunches will be served Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

The BOE is providing transportation for children only. The bus will make approximately five different stops within the city limits. For more information, contact Debra Herrmann at 478-982-6000.
