Wedding Announcement

Mr. & Mrs. Hodges Mr. & Mrs. Hodges Miss Krista Whitley of Warner Robbins became the bride of Mr. David Hodges of Millen on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Dutch Ford Farms in Metter.

The bride is the daughter of Todd and Janicea Whitley of Warner Robbins. She is the granddaughter of Strozia and Sue Davis, Lamar and Ginger Whitley and Buster and Janice Vickers. The bridegroom is the son of Eddie and Retha Lynn Hodges of Millen. He is the grandson of Nick and Martha Johnson and Earlene Hodges and the late Edsel Hodges.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Todd Whitley. The Rev. John Paul Hearn officiated at the ceremony, and music was provided by Dorie Johnson and Will Gay.

Leigh Watson of Warner Robbins served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kaila Ransom of Perry, friend of the bride; Jessica Hodges of Millen, sister of the groom; and Elly Whitley of Savannah, sister-in-law of the bride. Jake Atkinson of Garfield was the best man. Groomsmen were Will Hinson and TJ Mc- Neal, both of Twin City, friends of the groom; and Cody Todd of Garfield, cousin of the groom. Channen Conway of Millen was the ring bearer, and Chaley Anna Conway of Millen was the flower girl. Avie Pate Lee and Brennen Johnson of Millen also took part in the ceremony.

Following a reception at the Dutch Ford Farm Commissary, the couple will reside in Bloomingdale.

The bride is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in finance and is employed by Colony Bank as a credit analyst. The bridegroom is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in finance. He is the manager of operations at Scrap Partners, LLC.
