Executive Director Elaine Williams said, “Upon tearing out the old carpeting, we were very happy to find the original hardwood floors in place and in excellent condition.”

The hardwood floors have been restored and the entire office and conference room areas have a coat of new paint, along with a beautiful conference room table.

“We are still working, but it’s progressing nicely and we hope to be finished by mid-July,” Ms. Williams said.

The offices of a new addition to the JCFEC building and programs, a Children’s Libray/reading Center, are still under “construction,” as well. The Library already has over 300 books, thanks to the efforts of Pace Cooper who collected the books as his community service project for his On Target Martial Arts class.
