Open House held for New Durden Bank

During this time, the Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce sponsored a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the facility which is located at 815 Hwy. 25 North in Millen.

Durden Banking is a locally owned and operated financial institution with four offices located in Twin City, Swainsboro, Metter and now Millen. The office is under the management of Kirk Rocker, Vice President of Durden Banking Company, Inc. and a lifetime resident of Millen. Kirk has worked with the bank since 2008.

Durden Banking has in excess of $160 million in assets and over $25 million in capital. It is and has been recognized as both a very safe and high performing bank by Bauer Financial Inc. by awarding Durden Banking Company, Inc. its 5 STAR Rating, their highest award. The bank was established in Summit, which later became Twin City on June 26, 1935.
