Floyd Foreman

Floyd Foreman was born to the late Cain and Ada Bell Foreman on December 1, 1953, in Millen, Georgia. He entered eternal rest on August 2, 2017, in Augusta, Georgia.

The twelfth of sixteen children, Floyd joined the Jones Temple Baptist Church at an early age. He was a joyful, happy person who was always full of laughter. Floyd was a self-employed truck driver for many years.

Survivors include eleven siblings, six brothers and five sisters: Harrison (Mae Lener) Foreman, Portal, GA; J.R. (Irene) Foreman, Fort Lauderdale, FL; Louis (Gwen) Foreman, Swainsboro, GA; Willie Foreman, Lester (Mattie) Foreman, Pastor Clyde (Theodosha) Foreman, all of Millen, GA; Janie (James) McCoy, Garfield, GA; Evonia (Grady) Jones, Linda (Joseph) Ford, Twin City, GA; Geniese (Julius) Carter, Millen, GA; Mamie Foreman, Hardeville, SC.; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services were held 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Endtime Faith Deliverance Church – Midville, with the Reverend Amos Handsom officiating. Burial followed at Jones Temple Baptist Church.

Dwight’s Funeral Home was in charge of services.
