Lisa Dailey, Director, reports that Phase two of the storm drainage project has been installed from the tennis court back to the football field area.

“This should help control the flooding that occurs after a storm,” she said.

Other improvements include the conversion of the old concession stand to men’s and women’s bathrooms and the conversion of the old office to a host room and press box.

“All of the dugouts, press boxes, and bleacher stands are receiving new metal roofs and the concession stand has had a new ventilation system installed,” Mrs. Dailey said.

Funding for these improvements is coming from the county’s SPLOST 6 fund and General Fund with labor provided by the Georgia Department of Corrections.
