Pamela Lee Bowman Collier

Pamela Lee Bowman Collier, 53, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 20, 2017.

Pamela was born in 1964 in Ferkessédougou, Cote D'Ivoire. She grew up in Mali, W. Africa and graduated from the Ivory Coast Academy in 1982. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in 1987 and also married her former husband, Joseph Collier and resided in the Millen and Sylvania area since. She received a Master of Science in Nursing in 1995 and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 1996 from Georgia Southern University. Afterwards she served in the United States Airforce for three years and was honorably discharged as a Colonel. She was a member of the Corner Stone Church and was certified as CALS, ACLS, PHTLS, and PALS/NAL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Poly Bozeman Bowman.

She is survived by her twin sister, Tamara Fritz; her father and step-mother, Loyal and Sandy Bowman; sisters, Dorinda Bowman and Lorna Bowman; nephews, Cody Fritz, Ian Fritz, Jarod Stanley; niece, Erin Stanley; and her step-children, Hillary Collier and Daniel Collier.

Services were held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Cornerstone Church with full military honors and reception to follow. Pastor Ed Neubert officiated and the family received friends an hour prior to the service.
