Students are encouraged to dress up and show their school spirit throughout the week. Thursday afternoon the JCHS cheerleaders and the JC Band will hold a school-wide Eagle Spirit Rally at 2 p.m., where the spirit class winners and the BMOC will be announced.

The homecoming parade will take place at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28th. The parade, sponsored by the Jenkins County Athletic Boosters, will start on Cotton Avenue and will proceed left onto Masonic Avenue, left onto Winthrope Avenue and then right on Gray Street and arrive at the high school. A JCHS Powder Puff football game will be held Thursday evening after the parade, on the football field. Admission to the Powder Puff game will be $2.

Friday, will be “War Eagle Spirit Day” and will begin with high school students voting for Homecoming Queen. Friday will culminate at 7:30 p.m., with the Homecoming game against the Treutlen County Vikings. The coronation ceremony will take place during halftime of the game when one of the senior representatives will be named the 2017 JCHS Homecoming Queen.
