Habersham UMC to hold Homecoming

Homecoming will be observed at Habersham United Methodist Church 11 a.m. Oct. 15th. Sue Diebolt will be the guest speaker. Dinner will follow the service. Everyone is welcome.

Millen New Testament to celebrate church anniversary

The 39th church anniversary of Millen New Testament Baptist Church will be celebrated 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9-13th and Sunday, Oct. 15th, at 3 p.m. Guest speakers will be: Tuesday, Apostle Dorothy Nelson; Wednesday, Elder Joyce Williams; Thursday, Pastor Thelma Evans; Friday, Speaker Rev. Frank Bedford; and Sunday, Bishop Bertha Jones. Dinner will be served Sunday.

Williams Grove to host revival and church anniversary programs

Williams Grove Missionary Baptist Church will host revival services 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10-12. The guest revivalist will be Rev. John Harmon. The 144th church anniversary will be celebrated Sunday, Oct. 15. Sunday School begins at 9 a.m. and the church service at 10 a.m. The guest pastor will be Rev. Reginald Sharpe.

Mt. Carmel to host Senior program

Senior members of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 70 years of age and older, will be celebrated Oct. 8th. Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m. and the morning worship service at 11:30 a.m. Pastor is Rev. Jerome Herrington.

Millen Methodist to Host Homecoming

Rev. George Durham, pastor of Payne’s Chapel United Methodist Church, will bring the Homecoming message for the Millen United Methodist Church during the 11 a.m. Oct. 8th service. A covered dish lunch will follow the service in the Social Hall. The church will provide meat and everyone brings a covered dish to complete the meal. Pastor Lee Pettis and members invite all to attend.
