The Jenkins County War Eagle Softball team has just finished the best season in team history. The ladies ended their regular season with an overall record of 10-8. In region play they finished 4th in the region with a record of 7-3. Prior to this year the most region wins in team history were 3 and that was with last year’s team. From 2012-2015 (4 seasons) the Lady Eagle’s won 10 games total. In the last two years they have won 18 games.

“These young ladies have worked extremely hard and put in countless hours of practice to achieve these results. Our team mantra for the last two years has been believe”, says Head Coach Renee’ Hearn. She continued, “Every day we tell these ladies that we believe in their ability to win and that they also need to believe in their ability to compete and win at a high level. We believe that when we play our best ballgame, we can beat anyone.”
