Bay Branch to host musical program

It is always a good practice to “take the high road”, but on Saturday, October 28th, beginning at 6 p.m. at Bay Branch Baptist Church, the saying will have a whole new meaning. Nashville’s talented musicians of “High Road” roll into Screven County for a live, free concert. These female singer/songwriters are amassing a large varied fan-base of Country, Bluegrass, Gospel and Contemporary Gospel music fans across the country. Their latest project, “Somewhere I’m Going”, was produced by Ben Isaacs of Bluegrass acclaim (the Isaacs) and features Grammy-winner Jason Crabb, as a guest vocalist. Sarah Davidson, the group’s pianist and founder, toured with George Jones, shared the stage with Chris Young and sang with Mark Wills. High Road seems to be her calling as they pen and record songs that touch the heart of listeners. Learn more and listen at www.highroadmusic.com. Admission is free, offering only, and all are welcome for a night of toe-tapping, casual, fellowship. Bay Branch is located at 4029 Millen Highway, Sylvania, Georgia 30467. Call (912)690-0073 for direction or for info.
