JCHS War Eagles to host State Playoffs Friday night – finish season with 7-3 record!


The Jenkins County High School War Eagles will host the State Playoffs for the time in school history 7:30 p.m. this Friday night. Members of the team are Alroy Parham, Jujuan Major, Darius Burton, Michael Milton, Robert Coney, Andrea’ Young, Markeith Wright, Cameron Brady, Keonda Kelly, Anthony Wilson, Courtney Austin, Cassius Sheppard, Cheney Knight, Justin Gray, De’Trenton Newton, Stefan Robertson, Traune Kelsey, Nautica Pierce, Jay Jones, J.C. Williams, Ty’Kese Milton, Dylan Pye, Novel Wilson, Johnathon Coleman, Ty Evans, Dominique Mills, Thomas Royal, Bryce Joiner, Cannon Griffin, Tyrone Williams, Austin Herrmann, Jarion Polk, Derriod Thompson, Jaylen Herrington, Tyler Ellis, Jimmiah Lee, Trent Harley, Mason Hendrix, Jakestal Lee, Garrison Underwood, Dominique Stephens, Cameron Sampson, Dwight Roberson, Jeffrey Harris and Dwayne Byners. The historic run continues this Friday night as the JCHS War Eagles will host the first round of the State Playoffs for the first time in school history. The opponent is not available at press time.

The War Eagles impressive resume includes wins over Hephzibah, Wheeler County, Portal, McIntosh County Academy, Treutlen County, Johnson County, & Montgomery County.

Now it’s time for Jenkins County to rally around this football team and pack Roy Head Stadium this Friday for the playoffs! Kickoff set for 7:30!
