Grand Jury indicts Perkins man on murder charges

Justin Wade Farmer, 30, of Perkins was indicted by a Jenkins County Grand Jury earlier this month on charges of Malice Murder, Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault. The charges stem from an April 17th incident in which Christopher Mc- Cloud, 26, of Millen died.

Officers of the Millen Police Department were dispatched to Sunset Inn, 637 Hwy. 25 North, in reference to an entering an auto call. A short time later, the body of McCloud was found near the location.

Other indictments rendered by the Grand Jury included the following.

Casey Danielle Gantt – two counts of Identity Fraud, Forgery in the First Degree and financial Transaction Card Theft.

Jeffrey Bernard Harris – Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Carry a Weapon Without a License.

Megan Nicole Bazemore – Trafficking in Methamphetamine.

Charles Gaskin – Manufacturing of Marijuana.

Carli Drew Ridings – Possession of a Dangerous Drug by Inmate and Crossing the Guard Line with Contraband.

Spencer Singleton – Battery-Family Violence.

Robert Tyrone Taylor – Trafficking in Methamphetamine.

Donald Grier – two counts of Terroristic Threats.

Jacqueline Catherine Story – Exploitation and Intimidation of Disabled Adult, Elder Person and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Eugene Hardaway – Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Related Objects.

Nicholas Lewis Panagiotopoulos – Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Related Objects.

Cal Franklin Weiss – Possession of Methamphetamine, Theft by Taking, Drugs Not in Original Container and Possession of Drug Related Objects.

Janeen Thompson – Theft by Taking.
