The Millen National Fish Hatchery officially became the Bo Ginn National Fish Hatchery and Aquarium in a ceremony held at the hatchery on Sunday afternoon. Cong. Ginn was so recognized for the role he played through the years in support of the hatchery.

Lynford Cook is named Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce President. He has served as a director for three years.

Watson Rocker, Chairman of the Jenkins County Board of Education, is named District Outstanding Board Member of the Year for District 10, by the Georgia School Boards Association. Mr. Rocker has served on the local Board of Education for 19 years.
