(Photo contributed) Millen's first mural, located on the wall of Elegant Nails on Cotton Avenue, is part of Go Georgia Arts "Georgia Mural Trail." The project is the work of John W. Christian, an artist from Hapeville, Georgia, who plans to paint 50 murals in 50 Georgia cities in five years. The focus is on putting the murals in towns with a population under 10,000. Millen is the twelfth location on the Trail.

Other murals have been painted in Cave Spring, Washington, Warm Springs, Lone Oak, Woodbury, Hapeville, Blue Ridge, Forest Park, Greenville, Clarksville, and Manchester.

The mural is a Main Street Millen project financed through a grant from Go Georgia Arts and local contributors.
