Carli Drew Ridings

Carli Drew Ridings, 23, passed away Saturday evening, January 27, 2018.

She was born in Statesboro, GA and had attended Jenkins County and Screven County Schools. She enjoyed the listening to music and dancing and had spent many a day on the water, where she enjoyed swimming or river boat riding. Her greatest love was the time spent with her daughter and siblings, where she occasionally was a little bossy, and she enjoyed cooking and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Michael E., Sr. and Martha Lynn Peacock Lindsey, greatgrandparents, Charles E., Sr. and Irene Swift Lindsey, Leon and Margaret Peacock, Jamie and Lillian Lucas, and Paul and Pauline Ridings.

She is survived by a daughter, Kinsley Rae Lane; companion, Alan Brandan Lane; father, Michael E. “Lil Man” Lindsey, Jr., all of Sylvania; mother, Jenny E. Ridings of Millen; siblings Paisley Grace Lindsey, Charles “Zander” Lindsey,

Jillian Mase Lindsey, all of Sylvania, Joeli Marann Lindsey (Nathan S. Janney) of Statesboro, GA, Leigh Ann “Lindsey” (Juan) Alejos of Tallahassee, FL, and Ashton Blake (Whitney) Ridings of Grovetown, GA; maternal grandparents, Joann Gregory of Millen and Junior Ridings of Perry, FL, two nieces, Milihanna Jordyn Alejos and Adaline Elizabeth Janney; a nephew, Oliver Thomas Alejos and several uncles, aunts, and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Joiner Anderson Screven Chapel at 3 pm with Rev. Jeremy Lindsey assisted by Rev. Jean Sturdivant. The family will received friends from 1:30 pm to 3 pm prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Millen, GA.

Pallbearers were Josh Lindsey, Jamie Ridings, Darrell Lindsey, Nathan Janney, Martin Lindsey, Barry Durden, Jacob Lindsey, Trent Tankersly, Marshall Brownlee, Dillion Barnette, Robin Potter, and Michael Shipes.
