(Photo contributed) Chaquasha Tomlin named “Teacher of the Year” at Savannah High School On October 25th, the Savannah Chatham County Public School System recognized each of its schools’ Teachers of the Year representatives for excellence in education. Chaquasha Tomlin, is the Teacher of the Year for the School of Liberal Studies at Savannah High School (SHS), in Savannah.

Tomlin is a native of Millen and is a 2003 graduate of Jenkins County High School. She teaches American Literature and AP Language and Composition at SHS. She is the daughter of Ms. Sharon Williams and the granddaughter of Mrs. Ada B. Williams, both of Millen.
