Teens! Do you want to learn how to create a cool 3D effect drawing? Come to the library this Saturday, January 12 at 12:30 pm for our Teen Space craft time and we’ll show you how. You’ll be amazed how easy it is to do, even if you can’t draw!

Every Tuesday at 4 pm, we have a wonderful storytime for the little ones. It’s a great way for them to learn to love reading as we read them a story and show them how to do a fun story-related craft. This Tuesday, January 15 at 4 pm, we will have a Jan Brett storytime. Next Tuesday, January 22 at 4 pm, our storytime will be about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Next Saturday, January 19 at 11 am, we will have our Paint @ the Library adult painting class! We will be creating an abstract snowflake painting.

The library will be closed on Monday, January 21 to commemorate the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 22.

The Jenkins County Memorial Library Board of Trustees will be meeting at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 16 at the library. The Screven-Jenkins Regional Library Board of Trustees will meet at 4 pm on Thursday, January 24 at the Jenkins County Memorial Library.
