Warner E. Hosey, Jr.

Millen, Ga.-Mr. Warner E. Hosey, Jr., 74, entered into rest Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

He was born in LaGrange, GA, and was a retired textile programmer and member of Community Worship Center Church of God.

He loved the computer and his pet dog Castle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazel Denny Hosey and Warner E. Hosey, Sr., his brother, Clifford Hosey, and great-granddaughter, Adelynnn Barker.

Visitation was Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 from 12 noon until funeral time at 2 pm at Community Worship Center, 417 Virginia Ave. with Rev. Wilma Byrd officiating for a service to pay respects and love to a son, father, brother, uncle, loving husband, and a granddaddy. Burial was in the Sardis Baptist Cemetery in Sardis.

Pallbearers were David Barker, Jerry Williams, Larry Williams, Davon Jones, Jamerson Reese, Antonio Vences, Chuck Carver, and Marlin Scarboro.

Honorary Pallbearers were Terry Williams and Philip Hosey.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Esther Hosey; two sons, David Hosey and Ritchie Hosey of Troup Co., GA; five daughters, Dana Hosey of Troup Co., Shannon Glover (Chuck) of Hephzibah, Pamela Vences (Toni) of Millen, and Amber Barker of Hephzibah, and Selena Hosey of Troup Co; two sisters, Glenda Mc- Daniel (Paul) and Sue Thomas of Tennessee; two brothers, Phillip Hosey (Gail), and Bobby Hosey. Warner also has four grandchildren, David Ariel, Kerri and Toni; and three great-grandchildren, Dustin, Brentlee, and Lilly Mae and several nieces and nephews.
