Fair-on-the-Square to be held Oct. 6



Fall may not be in the air yet, but plans are proceeding for the annual Fair-on-the-Square arts and crafts festival to be held Saturday, Oct. 6, on the lawn of the Jenkins County Courthouse. The fourth graders at Jenkins County Elementary School celebrated their second Native American Day Friday, Aug. 31. The Indian Day was part of their social studies curriculum.
