JCRD Opening Day slated for Saturday



Opening day for baseball/softball will be held Saturday, April 5 at the Jenkins County Recreation Department. Opening ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. with games beginning at 10 a.m. Activities planned include a Moonwalk game, slide and train rides for the kids, a chance to win four Braves games tickets and a barbecue cook-off.

Heritage Festival cancelled



The Magnolia Springs State Park Heritage Festival, slated for Saturday, April 5, has been cancelled due to a conflict with other local activities. This event will continue on another date in the future. Park management apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
