Work on school sewer project underway

Work by the City of Millen on its school sewer project is progressing on College Avenue. The City was awarded a $456,000 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loan by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) board of directors to fund the project. The city will pay 1.63% interest on the 15-year loan, which includes principal forgiveness up to $92,000. […]
