Mr. James W. Langham, 80, of Millen dies Jan. 14




Mr. James William Langham, 80, of Millen died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006 at Brentwood Terrace Health Center in Waynesboro.

His funeral was held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Zellner officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Langham was a native of Warren County. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He was a retired brick mason. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, where he attended the Prayer Warriors Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a sister, Mildred Newsome of Thomson; two brothers, John Langham of Delcambre, La. and Joe Langham of Huntington, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were deacons of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Prayer Warriors Sunday School Class.

Memorials may be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church.
